The Nikon F50 (1994), sold in North America as the N50, is an entry-level 35mm autofocus SLR with a Simple mode for point-and-shoot use and an Advanced mode with full P, S, A and M control plus scene programs. It meters with a six-segment matrix, autofocuses with a single centre sensor, fires a built-in TTL flash and runs a 30 s to 1/2000 s shutter from one 2CR5 battery.
