Rising Showdown 2026

The Rising Showdown is a classic powerlifting competition organized by Rising Gym and supported by UAE BBF, following IPF classic powerlifting rules. The event takes place April 4–5, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday) at Rising Gym, 1st Floor, Novotel Hotel, Fujairah, UAE. Vivyd Media is excited to announce that for the second year running, we will be the official media partners for Rising Gym Showdown, providing full media coverage throughout the event and supporting the livestream. Athletes compete across men's and women's weight classes in squat, bench press, and deadlift, with three attempts per lift to reach their maximum. The competition is open to UAE citizens and residents who are current EBBF members, with international lifters able to participate as guest lifters with an NOC from their home IPF federation.
